May 24 - 26 | Silver Spring, MD

Makers + Plants Market

Join us Memorial Day Weekend for Maryland Plant Fest, hosted by Plants Alive in Silver Spring. Pitcheresque will be there for all three days!

Saturday, May 24: Specialty plant vendors kick things off and will be set up all weekend long, including the world-renowned Ecuagenera and others offering rare and tropical plants.

Sunday, May 25: Our monthly Makers Market features a fresh lineup of local artists, independent brands, and creative small businesses. Come support your favorites and discover something new.

Monday, May 26: Don’t miss a special book signing with Maryland’s own plant stylist and author, Hilton Carter. Stop by to meet him and grab a signed copy of his latest work.

Occoquan Riverfest & Craft Show

Get ready for a vibrant weekend at RiverFest, where the historic district transforms into a lively hub of creativity and family fun! Stroll through streets lined with nearly 300 vendors.

Hester's Houseplant Prop & Swap

A fun, hands-on event where you’ll learn how to propagate houseplants like pothos, hoyas, succulents, and more, and take part in a community plant swap. Bring cuttings, extra plants, pots, or seeds to trade, along with your snips and gloves. There will be door prizes, free plant giveaways, and a selection of local vendors—including Pitcheresque, where we’ll be offering a variety of carnivorous plants.
